HELEN KIRKUM presents ‘HISTORY IN REMAKING’ a short film celebrating their Made to Order sneaker service. HELEN KIRKUM’s Made to Order offers season-less classic silhouettes constructed of post consumer waste collected from recycling centre TRAID. Their signature material and textural mixes bringing mystery and depth to each step, trailblazing the way for the sneaker industries need to address its own planned obsolescence. The film celebrates the joy of wearing and the process of making. A playful and atmospheric short by Bernhard Deckert edited by Leo O’Donnell.
