Fashion Values Launch
Fashion Values is a global, free to access education platform, developed by Centre for Sustainable Fashion at London College of Fashion, UAL and supported by core partners Kering, IBM and Vogue Business. It has been developed in collaboration with a global network of thought leaders in design, research and education, to promote sustainability in fashion.
To mark the London Fashion Week launch of the programme, an exclusive film has been made by award winning Visual Artist and Film Director Nadira Amrani, which explores a collective shift from the ‘Age of Extraction’ to the ‘Age of Regeneration.’ The screening will be followed by a panel discussion chaired by Professor Dilys Williams with the programme partners exploring the role of education and next-generation voices in transforming the fashion industry.
Fashion Values will enable learners to create sustainably; to empower imagination, innovation and consciousness through sustainability leadership and a powerful media narrative; and to make education and learning globally informed, interdisciplinary and accessible through cross-cultural relevance and location-specific application.
Open access to cutting-edge fashion and sustainability learning – Fashion Values brings the expertise of London College of Fashion, UAL, a global leader in fashion education, to learners from across the world, in all stages of their career. The open-access digital learning programme expands on a five-year Kering x London College of Fashion partnership that awarded student-led sustainability innovation.
